We have some chicks that we got and shortly after getting them the chicks began having noticable foot deformaties. Their toes go every which way except the right way. Im not inclined to think that its a nutritional deficiency because we have chicks that came from two seperate sources and all the chicks from one source have the same issue. I picked them all up as day olds. We've pondered the idea of getting rid of all the effected chicks. Our other option is that we would be able to keep them seperate from roosters and have them be exclusive egg layer. My question is, if they have notable foot defects is there any reason to believe that they would not be capable of producing quality eggs for eating?
(Sorry, I have lots of questions lately)
