Our two 'keeper' does are both registered as experimentals with the ADGA. They are half sisters, and both 3% Alpine, 9% Saanen and 88% Sable. I have finally found a local dairy with registered Sables, and intend to purchase a buckling from them in the spring. I've been searching for a year, and i'm crazy excited as they've invited us to come and look at the does and bucks and reserve one. My husband will be overjoyed

However I can't find anything on the ADGA website about what the offspring would be. Would they be experimentals that are 1.5% Alpine?

I think the offspring cn be registered as Sables. If you have only two does, are you sure you want to fool with a buck? If possible you would be a lot better off to take them to a breeder to be bred when they are in heat and just pay a stud fee.

I already have one buck, a grade Sable. I have four does at the moment, two I plan on selling in the spring but I will probably keep some offspring (all four are bred).
