Question about breeding chickens

I want to start hatching some of my easter eggers eggs but every time the rooster tries to mate with this one hen she ether tries to fight him or just runs away any thoughts why she does this?

It works like that sometimes. Sometimes a hen will fight a cock. For whatever reason, she may not want to submit to him. Is he young? This may change. Also, just because she is doing this does not men she always will, and she always has. If she gives you fertile eggs, you will know.

The rooster and the hen are both around six months of age
I will probably check some of her eggs for fertility

They will likely sort it out. They are very young.
