question about chukar

They may set on them, but when it comes to feeding they have 2 different feeding methods. The chukars will definetly not like to be fed like a squab.Or you could take the chukars away when they hatch and brood them yourself.
In N.H.,Tony.

my chukar eggs have been incubating for 3 weeks now. when i try candling the eggs, i can not see anything. the egg shell is too dark. how can i tell if the egg is fertile???

I should mention.... 3 wks into it-- you're almost done. At 3 wks development about all you could see when candling will be the air sack at the top of the egg(normal for this advanced incubation) unless they are duds which will candle clear...
