Question about eggs in the post...

Hi,

I received some light sussex eggs in the post today, and I was wondering if you had to let them rest if you were going to put them under a broody hen, the same as if you were putting them in an incubator.

Yes, I do believe the same rules apply. You want the contents of the egg to be able to settle into place after all the jostling around during shipping and allow the eggs to come to room temperature before setting them.
