I lost a 3 day old chick yesterday due to unknown causes. I think it was shipping stress but some said her symptoms resembled that of Coccidiosis so I added Sav a Chick to their water and started them on Corid, it has been about 28 hours since I noticed the original one was sick and the remainder have shown no signs of illness. I am going to finish out the course Corid just to be safe but I am wondering how long to give the Electrolytes, I mixed up one gallon and they have used about 1/2 of it, after it is gone is it okay to go back to tap water? Thanks!

IMO, I see no reason to continue w/ the SAC mix once your remaining batch is gone. If the chick is not exhibiting any stressed signs, it should do fine w/ tap water. Whatever additional nutrition the chick would be getting w/ continued SAC supplementation would likely be negligible @ best atop its usual rations.
