I have just vaccinated my 6 -1/2 wk olds with the adult version of the vaccine. The vaccine did come with the 2 prong plunger. I did poke it into the wing web, but I don't think it went through on a couple of them and barely through on the other four. Dang plunger certainly wasn't that sharp. I felt so bad for the girls. How much of a chance do you think the vaccine will take. If it doesn't, I will revaccinate, but was think about using a 20 gauge needle. Would this work? I can get them at work, and I know they are sharp and would not have any trouble going through. Thanks for any suggestions. Thank goodness chickens don't hold grudges. I gave them some plain yogurt after the vaccines for being such good girls.
