How do you dropp oil in beak without choking the bird?

I've used a dropper for water. I suppose you could use one for oil. I'll take a dropper and drop one or two drops on the top of the beak. It tends to go down into their mouth and you'll notice them doing a little sip sip with the beak. Keep repeating. Just set her in your lap on a towel and use the dropper. Speaking soothingly helps. I wonder if you could mix in something tasty like a couple pinches of cherry jello.
