Question about Niacin and/or Brewers Yeast for Ducks

Hey guys just brought a baby duck home from tsc, hoping to save the lil guy, he can stand and walk somebut he awkward when he does and lays with his legs kicked out, got the brewers yeast already but should i or can i do anything else?

I'd also pick up some Poultry Nutri drench [TSC ] and start giving him small drops into his bill. Just inside one drop at a time.
Brewers yeast will help too. Hopefully with some TLC you can get him up and going quick.
1Tab of BY per cup of feed.
you can also add the PND to his water that way he can have it all the time too. Directions on the bottle.

All the best!

I started giving my ducklings niacin this weeend and sprinkle a little on every time I change the food (a few times a day) am I giving them too much?

Rec dosage is 125 megs daily mixed into gallon of water, made fresh daily.

:welcome

If your sprinkling onto their feed I'd measure out the 125mgs and sprinkle it over the feed.

Do adult ducks need supplemental niacin or brewers yeast or is it just required for ducklings? I currently sprinkle a little brewers yeast on my ducks food a couple of times a week but I'm not sure if it is really necessary.
can brewers yeast for humans be used for ducks?
