I have such a weird question. I was wondering if anyone has ever ordered a roo who turned out to be a hen?

I ask because I've heard silkies are notoriously hard to gender; and silkie bantams moreso. I ordered a roo chick from MPC; is there any chance he'll be a pullet? Or are hatcheries usually pretty good about getting roos right?

Probably the exact opposite question that usually gets asked about the sex of hatchery chicks, haha.

All my chicks, both standard and bantams bought from and sexed by MPC have been correctly sexed. A few years back I ordered a bunch of sexed silkies and all were pullets like they were supposed to be. They have a 100% guarantee on sex. I doubt they would send you a pullet, but there's always a risk.
