I would like to show these guys next year. I've never shown anything before so this will be a new experience for me and I have a TON of questions. I'm trying to learn as much as possible! Any tips/advice appreciated. Thanks.
First question: Is the standard for large fowl sumatras the same as for bantams? Does anyone know what range the bantam's weight is supposed to be?
Second Qestion: Multiple spurs: My rooster (about 10 months old) has about 3 large bumps and then 2-4 smaller ones on each leg. Do they usually all grow into spurs or just the large ones?
Third Question: I read in the APA book that the desirable tail carriage for males is horizontal to the ground, forming a straight line with the back. My guy has a huge tail but it's at about 15 degrees right now. Does the tail generally drop with age as their tails grow?
