Question about Speckled Sussex

I got some Speckled Sussex eggs about and they hatched out about a month ago. I am concerned about the coloring. I am wondering if maybe another breed got ahold of these hens. They look like Speckled Sussex except the feathers on both of their chests are white. Is this normal? Do Speckled Sussex sometimes have white chests or does this mean they have to be mixed with something else?

knowing how mottling works I would say its normal for them to have white on their chest, just let them grow and you will see how mottling keeps changing..thats the nature of mottling you cant expect the same pattern

It is normal, and the white will disappear when they molt into their adult feathers.
