Question about the APA Standard of Perfection

I could but find it a real process to post a pic, but the damage is very minor at the very tip, maybe an eighth of an inch or less. will see if i can get my son to assist with the photo thanks

I have come to appreciate that there are many important qualities that are not listed in the standard. Temperament is the most obvious one: I don't enjoy being attacked by a rooster. But, there's perhaps an even more important one, which I kept in mind when our favorite, most correct hen died, which was "knows how not to be eaten by predators." Her lacing may have been better than her hatch-mate, and she may have had a broader skull, but her hatch mate knew how to take cover. In the end, that's probably more important to the next generation than the feather lacing.
