Question about worming my chickens with vinegar.

I've heard you can use vinegar to worm chickens. Does it work? Is it good for them? How much do I put per gallon of water? Thanks

I don't think there is one shred of evidence that vinegar will de-worm a chicken. I think that a bit of vinegar in the water is a good thing as long as the concentration is low enough that they will still drink it.

I would imagine that there are plenty that would agree that some ACV in the water may help to mitigate worms getting a real hold in the system. I am not sure I am one that would agree with that, but who is to say.

I think that those that use ACV in water use a couple of Tablespoons per gallon, others will certainly tell you how much to use as many on this site use it regularly.

Many humans use a bit every day as a tonic and swear by its good effect on their system

You can give them Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with the mother, but not regular vinegar. I do not think it de-worms them though. You have to use plastic to water them. No metal.

I have never heard of using vinegar for this. I know that it has LOTS of uses but this is a first for me. I would like to know as well.
