New2,your little yellow if black shoulder will be a male.This is clearly evidence by the black now coming and growing outwards on his wing feathers and some on the back starting at the midrib and growing outwards. If you remember last summer there was a discussion that peafowl feathers don't change color,,I said they do change as they grow and posted many pics to prove this. B/S hens are mainly white with black "splotches" or the edges of their feathers are outlined with black pigment,at least all my b/s hens( 13 of them I think?) All the feathers that now show black at the midrib of the feather will eventually be totally black.
