Question for small breeders that ship day-old chicks.

Hi! For breeders --- individuals that breed and hatch, then ship chicks...
How do you handle PO foul-ups, DOA chicks? The big hatcheries replace chicks if anything happens to them, but for a small breeder, that doesn't seem possible.
How do you handle that sort of thing?

I personally ship at least 3-4 extras per order to make sure customers get what they pay for. I also use Oasis hatchling supplement in the shipping boxes. I will refund or replace losses on chicks.
