I did tell her I didn't think it'd work, but then she said "you can get dyed seashells, if you give them those will you get bright pink eggs?"

which is logical, if you think about it!

and no, we don't want sparkly poo

let's just be grateful I'd already put the craft supplies away before the question occured...

Read the original question, if it is EDIBLE, I dont think it would hurt your chickens.

To answer your question glitter would just come out as waste, sorta like drinking a lot of colored water it will not come out the other end blue/red/glittery (is glittery a color?? I think not, but its the goes with the point I am making)

that's right, it's sold for cake decorating so is completely edible.

they probably would love it, based off their preferences for their treats tray (aka kitchen scraps) -

anything with sugar goes first
anything made from bread or pastry second
cucumber goes third
anything else is last

they've been here for nearly 2 months, aren't bothered by who brings their treats (usually me) but do recognise the tray the treats are delivered on
