May. School is out for the summer and the weather is gorgeous

June or July. Sure, 40+ degrees Celsius weather is bad, but others have it worse. It’s the perfect time to go swimming. Come August, the beaches are way too crowded

Probably June or July. I can deal with the heat/humidity; Michigan's version is nothing like the south.
