Question of the Day - Wednesday, August 13th, 2025

There's a local place here called Lil' Miss BBQ that has the best sauce. They sell bottles of it so whenever I'm on that side of town (30 minute drive one way) I make sure and stop in for a plate and bring a bottle home.

For largely available brands (at least in the US), I'm a Sweet Baby Ray's Hickory and Brown Sugar fan. Recently, We've been exploring the Kinders brand flavors as well.

I've been experimenting for years with my own. Variations on honey/bourbon/hickory flavors. Haven't nailed it down yet though.

I don't really do BBQ sauce. Or BBQ for that matter.

If your BBQ game is good, you don't need sauce. Dry rub and skill or nothing.
Side bar, BBQ sauce is flavor profile that I can always pass up.
Eh, depends on the meat. I'm not a fan of baby backs or pulled pork without sauce, but I'd never sauce a brisket or a turkey breast.

Have you ever made a bbq pizza with pizza dough, sauce, pulled pork and cheese?
Add some bbq sauce on top and then bake it. It’s SO good!
Sounds like a nice combination. I have never pulled pork:gig:lau but have ate it in other households.
I make a variety of different pizzas. (during non HOT times) so I may experiment using BBQ sauce on some of the pizzas. One that comes to mind immediately is my Taco Pizza. :drool:drool:drool

My son makes a really GREAT barbecue sauce but when/if I run out and crave BBQ I do like Head Country apple habanero or raspberry chipotle.
