Oh yes, many times. I've written letters to the editor of a local newspaper, I wrote a couple of letters to the author Louis L'Amour, and received replies, I've written to my Congressman a time or two, and I've had a couple of articles and a few poems published in magazines. I even wrote a book manuscript about my experience traveling by covered wagon and came thiiiiis close to having it published!
