So my bator eggs started their pipping this morning. I have three or four with pips (polish), and the first one that pipped, was in a big hurry to get out of his shell. I think he is ADHD! But anyway, the bottom of the eggshell is still attached to him, but with a much larger "thread" than I've ever seen, Thickness wise. Also, I guess he hasnt swallowed the yoke yet, cause his belly is huge! He is breathing and been out for about an hour and half. Still in the bator, just left him laying there to keep warm. Think he'll be ok? When I say he is out, I mean his whole body is out, but still attached to the bottom of the shell by the "thread". Some blood in the shell.

if you need to remove the egg from the chick Snip the thread (after it is dried) with a pair of sizzors never pull on the thread.
