Question on Color...

All hen chick will not be purple, but any purple with be hens,......Also the 2nd chick could be from the blue hen, which in that case not dark pied.
.
Yes blue pied , NOW IF IT WAS PURPLE pied all his daughters would be purple, but he is only split purple so his daughter will be blues ,and some purples.

We do have an adult Purple hen. We originally had her in with our pair of cameos. After getting no fertile eggs from that pen after several weeks, we moved her in with the India Blue Pied Split Purple male. We have some of her eggs in the incubators now. If I'm processing all this information correctly...we would have a bit of a chance of getting a Purple male from that cross. Maybe??

Updated pictures of the purple pied peahen. She is 10 weeks old now. I'm curious if the silvery cast to her feathers is a clue that she is white eyed?

You need to learn a little more about peafowl, yes some people will say the 2nd is peach.........for sure its not pied. Not all birds with a white feather are pied.
