nope! and I'm getting solid lavender, porcelain and also mistakenly bought a Pg gened lavender so I'm getting Pg in some birds as well. 75% lavender 25% porcelain or showing trait their of. Of the lavenders about 25% of them are Pg carriers. Squirrel down.

I didn't think we were talking about Isobel (as in a lavender dilted buff).
Ahappychick is referring to "porcelain isobel" but I'm confused.

As most silkies are eb, please do you have a pic of a lavender silkie with Pg I could look at? In particular a feather showing the pattern.

Don't have any on my desktop, I take pic in the morning and get it loaded on here. But, here's an interesting thing to ponder. Being an artist I pick up on details that some may miss. On the porcelains, as chicks they all have a faint muted yellow-olive coloring to the skin on the face, beaks seem to have the same kinds tone and eye rims colored the same. Also, as chicks a few have green eyes and eventually darken up. ponder that.

I mistakenly bought a lavender carrying the gene. Now I started my own lavenders from scratch, breeders are clear and evenly shaded. just not looking like top notch silkies yet.

base is? sorry not to familiar w/ how you would refer to lacing on orps. red lacing on black base. Awesome coloring.... Wish silkies would show lacing and penciling. Just turns muddy like partridge hens.
