Good luck on your hatch.. when I am hatching out of my own flock, I just put them straight in. If I am hatching from shipped ( I've only done this once and my hatch rate was -0- ) I let them settle out big end up for 24 hours. What kind of incubator are you planning on getting? I have a janoel 12, with the size of the eggs my girls lay, I can get 6 in there, it has the auto turner so that I don't have to remember to turn them, I've added a separate hydrometer, to help track temp and humidity, my hatch with the janoel has been anywhere from 60% to 100%.
