Question on lights


Thanks for posting the pics.

First....please do not trust that clamp on the light. They are extremely prone to failure.
Coop fires are horrible.....

I would ditch the board and use a chain to hold that light.

What are the dimensions on this he brooder?

If that light is in the middle try moving it to heat just a corner. Have your temp sensor that shuts it down in that corner.

I don't see any windows.....it shutting off means sudden darkness. That is stressful on them. They also won't eat or drink in the dark.

I got a couple glass cutting boards from dollar tree to make a non opening window in a tiny coop for light.
