Question on mypetchicken order

I ordered my chickens in December from mypetchicken. I think they were supposed to come today. I say I think, because on their website they say they ship them overnight express on Monday. I went to the PO at 7am. No chicks! I was wondering when did they come for you people? Was it Tues. or Wed. and were they all alive? I am a little bit worried. I know their policy says they really aren't late until Thurs. (By Thurs. they'll be dead.) Any help would be much appreciated! thank!

Mine were sent Monday Feb 28th and received Tuesday the 1st. All alive, one died from being blind. Your phone number will be on the box and the post office should (very likely will) call when they get in. You can tell them you are expecting them and they will know to call you tomorrow when I assume they will come in. Be patient and stay calm, it is a very exciting and stressful time but things will be okay.

I just read in another post they received their chicks today. Perhaps they will arrive tomorrow. Good luck!

I have ordered twice from My Pet Chicken and was thrilled both times. The first time, they were out of a breed that I wanted and I hadn't left instructions for what to do. So . . . they didn't ship until Tuesday and arrived on Wednesday, late afternoon. (Express Mail truck) They had put chick grow gel in the box and the heating pad was still warm. The second time I ordered, they shipped on Monday and they arrived late afternoon Tuesday. No grow gel this time, but heating pad still warm.

Maybe they will still arrive later today! They will be okay! I think My Pet Chicken website says to let them know if they haven't arrived by Thursday. Keep us posted!

Don't they send you a e-mail that they were shipped out. Maybe they didn't get shipped yet.

Nope, they schedule the ship date when you place the order and that is the day they ship unless there are problems. Then, they will contact you.

ymmm can you check anywhere on the site to see if they are in transit somewhere. I would be pacing around.

Yeah... I'm pacing.....

The funny thing is...When I was at the PO this morning at 7am. The Post lady said, "oh, I just got here, and there are chicks." Yeah, I saw l like a dozen BO crammed into a box the size of yarn ball with a couple of air holes. I told her those weren't mine. I felt really bad for those chicks, but they were alive. Apparently their owner hadn't shown yet.

I know it is 7 am and all, but that box was tiny, I guess it was so that they had each others heat to survive by.
