Question regarding moving chick or chick's to brooder.

Thank you! That's actually exactly what I did! I had 10 out of the 12 eggs i had set up hatch(4 ayam cemano and 6 Svart Hona. The other 2 Cemani eggs looks like they made it to day 21 but just never hatched. I honestly think the first chick rolling all the eggs around and smacking them together might have played a big role in it.

it is normal for hatched chicks to play rugby with the other eggs and it normally doesn't change the hatch on them. Sometimes these things just happen. Congrats on the 10 chicks!!!!

Yep!! I've only had it happen once. It caused the air cell to become saddled and it was close to pipping and lost it's air supply. The culprit of the bonk that killed it is now a very healthy and vocal pullet. The other one she bonked hatched a few days later.
