I am seeing some runny poop from one of my adult ducks and some of my meat birds. I have the ducks separated and nothing I seem to do makes any difference in making the poop less runny. Any suggestions? I still have my chickens on starter crumble as they are not quite 8 weeks old yet and have been on the same feed since I got them.

If you can get a local vet to do a fecal test on some fresh combined droppings, you can look for coccidiosis or worms. If that is not possible, you may want to get some Corid (amprollium) from your feed or livestock store, and treat for possible coccidiosis. It is especially common in young chickens. Symptoms include runny poops, sometimes blood in poop, lethargy, poor eating, standing around hunched or puffed up, and weakness. Diarrhea can be a sign of drinking large amounts of water, as well as illness.

Corid dosage is 1.5 tsp of the powder or 2 tsp of the liquid Corid per gallon of water for 5 days.
