Ok if i put quail in that other half of the rabbit pen (which there is a 80% chance that i will) would a chicken watering bowl work? What should i feed them and are white coturnix quail the same as english white? Thanks

Chicken water bowl? Upside down jar style water fount will be fine. Feed them non medicated gamebird starter, purina 30% pro. If you can find it. White coturnix are English whites, all are coturnix underneath... Eat the rabbit ... Bill

Man I cant tell ya if they'd fight or not. If I wanted to have'em in the same pen, I'd put wire between the two.

I'm starting off this season with one pair each of Mountains and Bensons (Elegants)...I have ordered Montezumas,Bensons, mountains, Valleys, Gambels and Blue Scale.I also raise
Mandarin & Wood Ducks, Red Golden Pheasants, and India Blue Peafowl. Next year I plan on increasing my collection with Greater Prairie Chickens, Impeyan Pheasants, Roul Roul Partridge,
Java Green Peafowl, and Emus. I've raised all the above in the past in Pa (except Montezumas,Prairie Chickens & Javas)...but now I'm in northern New Mexico...different climate, elevation, and too much wind. I'm building housing as fast as I can...to keep predators...animals & humans at a distance.
I hopefully will just ship Mandarin eggs this season...but next year...I should be up and ready with most of the listed...environment willing!
Peace to all...have a great breeding season!
Zuni
