I have a cross between barred rock and Cuckoo Maran chicks. Are they qualified for show or will they be DQed?

rocks have yellow legs cuckoo marans have white legs, so yes they probably would notice. Why show the mixes under falsehood instead of getting pure breeds for showing? would make it easier. just my thoughts
