Has anyone seen an egg like this? We have no roosters all hens and this was our first lay from this one. Still trying to figure out which hen it came from. It’s the bottom reddish brown egg.

I've had rough eggs, but nothing inside them besides yolk, & white.

What do you feed your birds, & what type of treats, & how often?

Very odd. Never seen anything like it.
Won't even venture a wild guess at this time.
How old are your birds, in weeks or months.... and how long have they been laying???
Is this the only one you've seen or were there more of them?

Only one I’ve seen! I believe this is the first egg she ever laid. I’ve lost count the exact age but she’s about 6-7 months. They get fed all organic layer feed & organic scratch/peck feed, black fly larva, vegetables from the garden and they free range also. So nothing out of the ordinary! They’re super healthy birds.

How often do you hand out treats?

Update, found a second one of her eggs today and it was massive. Double yolk and a red spec which looks like an embryo but we don’t have any roosters. Maybe just a blood spec?
