How I can relate to all this! Why for example is print so small these days? When did the ground get so far away and make weeding so difficult? Who decided to make packets so hard to open? And why does everyone whisper these days? I'm blowed if I know!!

Why do we fear of heights even it is only three foot off the ground when we are on a ladder?

Why is everyone whizzing past me as if I am standing still when I am driving on the highway? After all I stick the speed on cruise and think nothing of it.

Why is it that I now worry about the height of my hubby's bronco (for getting in and out) because of my knees instead of the movement range of the hem of my skirt?

but then again, when did I start thinking "put on a skirt for going out? scr** it, I'll wear what I've got on. no one's looking anyway..."

When did I start taking (some) unfinished projects off my "to do" list because I *know* they're never getting finished in this lifetime?

I don't remember who, but somebody did a whole "bit" about the noises we make as we age. Ever notice that you have seperate sounds for sitting down, versus getting up? For me, sitting down is "Oof!", and standing up is "Oww!".

Two things my Ol' Gramps always told..... and I've found to be true....

1) I'll always have more experience than the youth

2) The wisdom of age, and treachery, can always beat youthful exuberance....

Yes, sitting down is "oof" getting out of a vehicle is uuhhh, most movements are "oww".

Why does this woman who I have slept next to for 48 + years suddenly snore like a trooper forcing me from the bedroom?

Well, I'm not even 20 and I feel old... my joints ache all the time... its hard to go up and down stairs... lose my glasses/wallet even though I left them right there...My idea of a romance novel is Pride and Prejudice, not Twilight... forget things all the time.

Maybe it's not getting old. Maybe it's just being human. Besides, Nuncle George, you have to stick around at least long enough to come to my wedding. So no getting too old.

I'm a teenager and I ADORE jane austen!!!! I hate twilight

have you read any of her other books? they are really good.
