I got some pots from my uncle a while ago. I noticed that one had this little strange label and it was instructions on how to use this pot with a water-wick. I looked up the name and found a bit. It is not that much and but it looks perfect.
I was wondering. Have you ever owned one? Is it actually worth it? Is it safe for all plants or only water loving plants?

If it is ok and all that, can you give me tips on how to convert my other 7 plants into one of these self-watering planters? :)

Thank you so much! :D

I have seen them but haven’t bought them. I think you can make your own also.
I normally just water my plants or take a used plastic water bottle, puncture a hole in the bottom and then place the bottle in the planter. It will slowly water the plant.
That seems like a lot of water.
I own mainly arid living species of plants like succulents. I have one plant that would not care how much water it got, it is a sturdy spider plant. I might try the water bottle trick with her pups because the soil drys up like crazy. Thank you! 😁
