This morning I was adding water to my “self watering” African Violet pots and found tiny bugs inside the bottom pot. The violets (there are 2; both have bugs) had drank all the water, so the pot was relatively dry. When I filled the pot with water, the bugs floated to the top, where they started jumping like fleas.

What are they and how can I kill them?

Those are common, & harmless. I don't remember what their name is, but are dubbed Snow Fleas.(Not Really Fleas)

Good to know! I was a bit worried since they looked so much like fleas... more so because I have a cat lol
They don't look like Fleas, but could to the untrained eyes.
