In AZ there are rules, pretty easy and free. I put a notice on Nextdoor. $5.00 in winter, $4.00 now for a dozen. Duck eggs $8.00/dozen or $5.00 for 6.

People do save cartons for me. We rent our guest house on weekends through Air BnB, and always include a dozen eggs when the hens are laying well. I give them a cute egg carton from Tractor Supply, because I figure it is part of renting our place. Here in AR, you can sell your eggs only at the farmers market. Otherwise they are supposed to be USDA inspected... That being said, I did sell eggs through Nextdoor for a time. I sold large chicken eggs for $3/dozen or $4/18 count. I gave a 25 cent discount if you brought me empty egg cartons in good shape.

People come here from Phoenix, and want to see the animals. We leave peas in the freezer that they can feed to the ducks. The kids (and some adults, too) enjoy feeding them. I let them give some scratch to the chickens sometimes, too. I always get good reviews from the ones who feed the birds! That's a really LOVELY idea!
Our birds are visible from the street, and I have had people drive in our drive way and ask about eggs -- duck eggs have a waiting list, I only have 3 duck eggs/day usually.

I'd sell a dozen for seven dollars
heck yeah! The farmers market does it for nine, the grocery store for five, so I am seven!
