Questions about treating a likely pendulous crop, maybe?

Often, following a crop disorder, there will be a small lump of material left in the crop, especially with older chickens. I've found that this eventually goes away. But you can encourage it by massage before the chicken eats. This may break up the material and it also helps stimulate appetite which in turn helps push material through the crop.

In other words, be patient. The crop will eventually clear.

Okay, thank you. I guess my lingering concern is that with Blackberry, her doughy crop seemed to get bigger over a few days (so I treated her for 2 days with the concoction), so I'll keep checking in the mornings to see that it isn't getting larger. But with Lily (with the pendulous crop), I can see how it could be just leftover. Will watch and see... wish I was getting as many massages as they are!!!
