questions about when to cull

we have a bunch of roo's, not excatlly sure of the age but any whre from 2 to 4 months old, not breed for meat. and ive been trying to get rid of them but no one seems to want any, so i fiuged we could just fill our freezer. when would be the ideal time to cull them? what age or should we go on weight? thanks!

I do it when they start to crow or just generally become a pain in the neck. They will be small, but for me perfect size for a crockpot of chicken soup.
