You know me I surely don't know what's going on when people start talking all technical.
Guess I wasn't sure what exactly they meant with the post. I'd never heard of MITF and had no idea it was associated with albinism.
When they mentioned blindness and deafness in dogs I know all about that.
I raised harlequin Danes for years and they have the issues with the merle gene and health issues with the whites.
Now I have aussies so still dealing with merle and excess white with them.
I didn't think there was anything like those issues in chickens.
