Just went to the run because I heard a scuffle and loud bawking. Looked in there and my BR is carrying around a dead frog that has been almost ripped in two. All three chickens are fighting over it and trying to eat what's left of it.

Should I take it away?

Or let them enjoy their frog?

HELP! I know nothing about chickens eating frogs!!!

Look away . . . look away . . .

Won't hurt them.

Mine have eaten snakes and lizards without problems. So I imagine a frog won't hurt either.

No such thing as a frog basket, you're fine.

Chickens are the epitome of omnivorous. Mine will eat anything they can catch and swallow. I've seen them steal mice form the cats. It makes me laugh when I hear someone feeding chickens a vegetarian diet!
