Quick question for pondering...

I can second the vote for a silkie roo. I bet a buff orpington would be nice as well, they are a docile breed.

If you get a roo, make sure you have a back up plan if he ends up being too much for the ladies or for you. My good friend was able to place a rooster with a flock at a local farm and we eat some of our birds, so the last kid-charging roo we had went into a soup pot.

Oh, that's a good idea! I love aracaunas! They're so pretty. I was thinking wyandotte... But I'll put one of those on my list too.

I'm kind of hoping they didn't sex one of my chicks right and I get a roo... But knowing my luck, its not likely.
