Quieter duck breeds?

I loved my Muscovy she was the sweetest little girl and I miss her everyday. One of the best ducks I’ve had!! I heard Muscovys weren’t that fond with swimming but she hopped in the pool everyday and ran around excited ☺️View attachment 3741556
They are adapted to the flooded forests of the Amazon Basin region, and were domesticated by indigenous peoples in the Pre-Colombian era. They love to swim fine, just in shallow swamps instead of lakes. They lack the same robust waterproofing that waterfowl from temperate regions, so that may be where that comes from? They need to get out of the water and dry off more frequently and getting wet in sub-zero temps will have their feathers looking like popsicles (dangerous!).

I’ve thought about khaki campbells! Honestly I didn’t know pekins were very very loud to people, I lived around female pekins and have a male Pekin and no neighbor complaints (surprisingly) because I would hear them quacking in the house 😅 so honestly anything quieter than pekins would be considered quieter for me
I ended up acquiring a khaki (3 months old) this summer. She's an absolute riot! Headstrong from day one and walks around like she owns the place, not scared of anything and she's the smallest duck in the flock. We call her Hooligan... because she is one lol. She got buddy, buddy with my flock boss pekin, Penelope (against Penelope's will) and follows her around chewing out the other ducks with her. It's the funniest thing.
