Quotes and Thoughts for the Day

Sarah, I'm so sorry. Prayers for you and your Simba!

My daughter has a Dachshund that did a number on his spine..back. She did everything the vet said to do, and he made it. He doesn't jump up on the furniture as easily, which is a good thing actually, but he runs around like nothing happened. I hope the same works for your Simba. Was is Prednasone that he got for inflammation?

Oh, Sarah! I so sorry to hear about Simba. I'm sending knee mail now. I hope me recovers quickly and that it doesn't get worse.

Thank you all! I really appreciate the support! Today has been rough.

Cynthia: Yes, they gave us a pain killer along with Prednasone.
TheBantyCoop: Yes, that is Simba in my avatar.

been a few months since I've come to byc, thought I'd share some good quotes from a (very good) game I've been playing:

- "no matter if it's from fear or admiration, the world can't help but change"

- "if there's someone in the world who understands you, you'll always feel as if they were right beside you, even if you're as far apart as the end of the earth and the top of the sky."

- "there are bad ways to win and good ways to lose. A flipped coin doesn't always land heads or tails. Sometimes it may never land at all..."

- "even if we don't understand each other, that's not a reason to reject each other."

- "one can lose the forest for the trees."

- "superior men understand what is right. inferior men understand what sells."

- "there are not two suns in the sky, nor two sovereigns over people." (I just love the wording in that... not sure what it was meant to mean lol)

- "A single leaf signals the start of autumn."

- "[character]'s heart is pure and innocent. But there is nothing more beautiful and terrifying than innocence."

ETA: I'm sorry to hear about ur dog Mountain Peeps. I didn't mean to intrude with some irrelevant post, it's just this was the first time I've logged on since last year and I didn't even check the rest of the thread. good news from the vet, hopefully you'll see a full recovery
