My BF prefers me with no make-up, but I will wear if going to a function or special occasion.

I think you should let her know that she insulted you with her comments. Just because her path is different than your doesn't mean she can call you lazy, that is unfair.
 
I think it is... oh, encouraging, no...steadying -comforting- to know that we seem to have the same feelings on make up. I have been told that I would be prettier if I wore it, and instead of being insulted, I decided to feel badly for the person who could not see past image and into who a person is. To me those kinds of comments just shows their shallowness.
