Does anybody have any favorite hopeful quotes that have really helped them through hard times? My mom is having a super hard time with divorcing and I have started writing quotes and putting them under her pillow a few nights a week and I wondered if you guys have some favorites you'd like to share. Thank you, Debby, that one did make me smile.I'm sorry your mom is struggling now. You're an awesome daughter to try to help her out, I'm sure she appreciates you. As silly as this one might look, it's been a good one for me (partly because it's so easy to remember and just sums things up)
last night I filled up a diffuser with calming essential oils, filled up her glass of water, and wrote a note that said ''thanks for everything you do for us, you are a great mom'' and left it with a chocolate. I'm no perfect daughter, but I do what I can. And that's all she ever asks for.

Yes, as you said, those might not be great for tomorrow night, but as time does its magic and their is a bit less pain I will keep them in mind. Thanks for the kind words and support. Notafarm, those were some great quotes, I'm going to have to write all these down and save them before they get lost in the thread! I had an idea as I was typing this, I might make a board with all these quotes and set it on her dresser or something. Nicky, I put your quote about giving it all you've got there tonight. She said ''someone keeps on leaving inspirational quotes on my bed......wonder who it is? If you see her be sure to tell her thank you.'' Thank you to all of my wonderful friends. It is so comforting to know I have a whole nother' family here always with shoulders to lean on and words to help the pain. And I'm not just saying that. You guys really are the best.
