It's tempting. My hens are playing around with the idea of going broody and if they do officially I may just sneak two under one. But at the same time I shouldn't. I made a promise...like I did last year...and then I ended up with four.

I need a bigger coop.

I know the feeling. I had 16 hens in the coop then about 2 months ago stopped in the feed store and got 4 babies. Then on Monday went back and got 4 more. Got 24 now. Had to keep the baby chicks in my bedroom in a cage for a month till the weather got warmer. Got them in the coop now but still in the cage. :)

But don't you think that add-on at the back would make a stunning conservatory? Knock 3/4 of the walls down… replace it with windows and a proper roof... I've always wanted a conservatory and they are actually not to horrendously priced, so long as you put them up yourself. Hmm, that place has potential written ALL over it.

We're at 13. I just rehomed our extra cockerel and I have one in the infirmary. Not sure if the little tyke will make it, but we've been trying all week and she hasn't given up yet. If she does pass I fear I'll cave and pick up two. I've done this before, I just can't help myself. And I'll have to buy feed eventually so I can't avoid the store like I'd need to haha

I've been property window shopping again to try and keep myself awake and amused. Found the most wonderful mess of a house at a great price: http://www.daft.ie/sales/tulligoline-templeglantine-limerick/1039029/ I'm going to have to import all of you to help me scrape and paint if I buy that one! ;)

Looks like a good value for the asking price. Not really sure about Ireland but it would be a good buy in U.S.
