Quotes and Thoughts for the Day

I guess it has a lot to do with what your used to. I've lived in big towns like Orlando Florida and small ones like Fitzgerald Georgia maybe its just me but I rather be in a small town. And not only in a small town but I'm out in the sticks! Closest neighbor is two miles away. Its so peaceful at home I hate to go to work and I start my workday in the woods.
:)

Now I need to find a quote about not being jealous.   Neighbors..2 miles away.  Oh I would love that!   Do you have chickens that need to be kept in a run to be safe from predators from the woods?   When I lived in Florida years ago, we had woods behind us. Beautiful.  Fernandina Beach.  Had the beach close too.  :)

The chickens stay in the coop/run during the day until around 5:30 when the DW gets home from work. I got a fenced in back yard so don't have any trouble from predators, at least not yet. Have seen a big hawks fly over from time to time but the chickens see it's shadow the run for the coop. I love Fernandina Beach. When we go to the beach that's where we go..

Flowers have spoken to me more than I can tell in written words. They are the hieroglyphics of angels, loved by all men for the beauty of their character, though few can decipher even fragments of their meaning. ~Lydia M. Child

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
William Wordsworth
