I bought a few iris's and planted those, and then we received a few wind flower seeds and ranunculus seeds so I planted those also.  I'm not sure they'll ever bloom, but it was a joy to plant them none-the-less. 

Shannon have faith, they will bloom. What color iris? Those flowers sound gorgeous! Can't wait to see the pictures. e

I found a Cardinal's nest right off from the stairs. They have such pretty colored eggs.
