Sounds perfect.Apart from the first four hours of my Dday being home with the chooks, watching their antics was so much fun. Little Else learned that if she pecked my hand, it meant an instant treat for her. She is one that will jump on to my lap. Aero used to, but now she is one big Orpington too heavy for that kind of play. Those two are silly together. They taunt Mr Wyandottey all day long. It was a beautiful warm fun day. Only cost me a loaf of bread
(7 grain)![]()

Has anyone here ever heard a mountain lion call? I was on a hike in Montana when i heard chirping, it sounds a bird, or a chick, but it was a mountain lion. Also, about 70 feet away. We didn't see it. Luckily we were in a group of 8. I got a lion on camera a few years back, it was heading right towards the farm.View attachment 4308177
He can see fine, their eyes face more sideways than forwards so all that hair isn't really getting in the way of his vision much at all. He could certainly see well enough to "help" me while I was trying to sort their water trough! Can the poor boy see? His forelock needs trimming, will need a photo of him AND the babies when born - wee little fuzzy butt babies.

There are 2 kinds of measles tooYou are very lucky, 1 in 1,000 people get encephalitis from the measels and if they survive, suffer permanent brain damage. There are 3 versions of the encephalitis, the first happens 2-7 days after infection, the second happens 1-7 months after infection, and the third version occurs 7-10 years after infection.
There is no treatment for these infections and they are often fatal.
