I had another "off" today, as happens and I decided to do something I've been thinking about for awhile now… Just to cheer me up a bit… Meet my little cancer buddies, or therapy chickens if you prefer: The black one is Daisybelle and the other 2 are Brahmas according to the breeder. Sorry it's not the best pic, I wanted to get them settled quick and off to bed, as it was late when we came back. The paler one has a bum leg, which I'm going to try and fix, if possible. If not, well, I'll try and let it have as best a life as it can with the one good leg. I saw it hopping around the brooder at the breeder's place and said "I'm taking that one. No-one's going to want it" It turned out to be the cutest darn thing, spent most of the 3-hour drive back cupped in my hand, singing happily

Sumi what wonderful little balls of fuzzy happiness you have there. They truly do work miracles on the spirit. So glad for your little ones, especially the challenged one.
Good morning everyone. Bum legged baby is slowly, slowly shuffling around my sweater, where I tucked it in for warmth. Letting out a happy chirp now and then. DS had been playing with the other two all morning. I appears I didn't buy chicks for ME, I bought chicks for WE!
