Guys, I need to ask for your prayers. My parents have been married 15 and a half years, and I don't known if it will make it to 16. I never thought a divorce could possibly happen. I took things for granted, and I shouldn't have. My five year old sister might not even remember what having married parents is like. I'm scared, I don't know anybody that's gone through this, and even if they don't get divorced, neither of them will be happy living together. My mom is being strong, and though I know it was probably the last thing in the world she wanted to do at the moment, she played games with us tonight. Tears were in her eyes the whole time thou, and it breaks my heart. They've know each other ALL of their lives. I don't know what is going to happen, and I feel so bad for my mom. She tries so hard. She doesn't deserve this, I just pray to god if this is going to end, it will be fast. Please keep my family in your prayers.

So sorry Cuz. it's not easy and I remember when I got divorced, I asked my son how many of his school friends' parents were still married. Sadly, he knew of many who weren't. Sometimes two people just aren't meant to be married. Luckily, I found another wonderful man, and my ex found another...well, wife. Lol. But we are all better off than we were if we had stayed together.

Just try and be supportive for your mother and let her know you are there for her. It helps alot having a kid that understands. Kudos to you, and best wishes.

Thank you so much, it helps knowing someone else has been through the same thing. As I hugged her goodnight tonight, we hugged for an extra long time, and my five year old sister, who is not really picking up on this yet, goes ''geez, why are you two hugging for so long?" Thank you for the kind words.

WV is right, sometimes a marriage isn't right no matter how hard the couple tries to make it work. Endings are hard and scary. Just remember, this is between them and it doesn't change how they feel about you & your sister. Be patient with your parents and help your little sister get through whatever happens.
